Frequently Asked Questions
Can a Hypnotherapist make me do things against my will?
No. Your personal boundaries are never at stake. Only positive suggestions that you feel comfortable benefiting from can be accepted by you. Even your sub-conscious mind still has your best interests protected.
Is it possible that I may become "stuck" in hypnosis?
No-one has ever been stuck in hypnosis. If you were to drift so deeply into trance you would merely enter a natural sleep state and awaken from your slumber feeling refreshed.
Can everyone be hypnotized?
Yes. Everyone has the capacity to achieve some level of trance if they desire. It is not possible to hypnotize a person against their will.
How would hypnotherapy have a real impact on a medical condition?
Since hypnotherapy can develop great strength of mind, our tools to combat almost anything may be greatly enhanced. Every condition that our bodies are challenged with can benefit from a strong determination to resist the ill-effects.
How could hypnotherapy improve my skill level at a sport or musical instrument?
Our mind control ultimately affects our focus, our memory, our ability to learn a new skill and our determination to excel in anything we undertake. By more effectively embedding our desired behaviours into our sub-conscious, we can learn and perform at much higher levels consistently.
